February 2, 2024, AMOCINE and IMAGINE FOUNDATION signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at strengthening cooperation between the parties in Mozambique in the areas of social change.

The Partnership has emerged from the intersection of AMOCINE work in supporting production of movies and documentaries with a social background in Mozambique and Imagine Foundation’s conceptual and practical knowledge in the dissemination and awareness campaigns involving local communities in rural and remote areas by adopting the mobile cinema tool.

The AMOCINE association was born in 2001 from the union of all Mozambican filmmakers with the main aim of preserving and safeguarding cinema, traditions and culture of Mozambique. AMOCINE is a non-profit organization
